Know where every student stands

Pick up the story without rebuilding it.

When one lesson ends and the next student is already walking across the ramp, you should not have to reconstruct their training from notes, texts, and memory. DualGiven keeps the useful parts of the student’s story together.

$39/month or $390/year after 30 days. Card required. Cancel before your trial ends to avoid a subscription charge.

How the workflow fits together.

01

Open the student

Get the recent training and current program context before you brief.

02

Teach the lesson

Spend the lesson flying and teaching, not managing a back-office system.

03

Record what changed

Add the lesson and leave a useful starting point for next time.

Give every student a training record that feels intentional.

01

See the recent training first

Open a student and get back into context quickly instead of digging through a chronological pile of records.

02

Keep the program visible

Track where the student is in the assigned training program and what work is still ahead.

03

Look organized because you are organized

Give students a clear view of their training instead of making progress depend on whatever the instructor happens to remember or write down.

Start from the experience they already have

Students can import a supported digital logbook or enter starting flight-time totals. Keep their existing experience in view as you work through the next certificate or rating.

Give students a place to follow along

Student access is included with your instructor workspace. They can review training progress, use their digital logbook, find signed endorsements, and complete assigned work without a separate student subscription.

Built from the right seat

Built around what I need as an instructor.

I wanted the student page to answer the questions I actually have before a lesson: What did we do last time? What is still weak? What comes next? What needs to happen before the next milestone?

Before your first lesson with DualGiven

A few things you might be wondering.

What is DualGiven?

DualGiven is flight instructor software for independent CFIs and CFIIs. It brings student progress, scheduling, training records, logbooks, endorsements, quizzes, documents, and lesson billing into one workspace.

How much does DualGiven cost?

DualGiven costs $39 per month or $390 per year, with an instructor workspace, student access, and a 30-day trial. A card is required. Your subscription renews automatically after the trial unless you cancel. One airplane is included; additional airplanes cost extra. Student payment processing and platform fees are separate from your subscription.

Do my students need a paid subscription?

No. Students join through your instructor workspace without a separate subscription. They get 60 days of student access when added, renewed by each instructor-signed flight. Inactive students or those who go 60 days without a signed flight keep free access to their logbook.

Can I use DualGiven with ForeFlight or LogTen?

DualGiven supports logbook import and export workflows for ForeFlight and LogTen. Import flight entries first, then review PDF signatures and endorsements. These are file-based workflows, not a live connection to those apps.

Can I use it on my phone or iPad?

Yes. Use DualGiven on the web and in the native iPhone and iPad apps with the same account. Start and manage your instructor subscription on the website. Supported flight capture, signatures, and scans work offline; billing, AI processing, and online tools require a connection.

Does DualGiven decide when a student is ready?

You make the instructional decisions. DualGiven organizes training evidence and endorsement needs so you can review them. It does not replace your judgment about proficiency, eligibility, or readiness.

One workspace for the instructor side of flight training.
